My MCE2005 configured to download the EPG when online. So when turning the HTPC on, it checks Internet connection and updates it EPG according to the file generated by MegaEPG.
I know that I can sync both activities - first MegaEPG then MCE EPG update.
My question is, is there a way to make the MegaEPG utility run when ever the MCE2005 updates the EPG?

No, it's impossible.
No, it's impossible. Microsoft schedules the guide update in a very proprietary way from their internal service (not even from the Task Scheduler). There are no hooks available. The only way is to try and "synchronize" them by times. Schedule the MegaEPG 15-20 min. before the MCE updates the guide (or vice versa). There are many utilities on the Internet that change the MCE update time. Just match the times more or less.

Is there a manually way to activate the MegaEPG exe file through the MCE menu ?
I mean, if I'm inside the MCE main menu, and I want the MegaEPG to download again the EPG, b/c of changes in shows schedule after today's download is finished.
If not, I suggest to have kind of line "MegaEPG" on the menu, and if chosen it will launch the download and at the end will show a pop-up window that download is completed.
