I recently started using MegaEPG, and I love it! It works really well and adds a full guide to the channels I'm interested in.
I have noticed a problem though.
I'm using Windows XP SP2 + MCE 2005
I have my clock set to auto-synchronize with Microsoft servers, and the DST setting is set to "Automatic", so it knows that the clock needs to be advanced by an hour.
When I used megaepg.exe with the DST set to "On", it created a guide which was late by one hour.
I had to set DST to off, rerun megaepg.exe (it used the cache) and it created a proper guide, without an offset.
I'm guessing that this could be a bug in the program, or am I doing something wrong?
I simply prefer to use the auto-synch feature so my clock is always accurate, and it only works well if DST is set to "On".
I also have another question which is a bit off topic. How can I change the settings for when Media Center updates its guide? Like the time of day that it tries to update?
Thanks
I'll look at the DST bug,
I'll look at the DST bug, thanks!
Regarding the MCE update, I used this program: http://www.avsoft.nl/Tools/guidedltime/ and a general description found at http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/thread/21568.aspx
