I am tring to get the EPG for HOT channles from the wall (without MEMIR). i managed to install and get the listings BUT the when scaning for chanels i get only UNKNOWN chanells.
I should find a way to get a map of scanned analog channels and bind them to the channels.xml file. Not sure it's possible to obtain the map from the MCE but I'll try.
There is no file you can edit for the channels :( I'd put the correct antenna channel numbers in the channels.xml file but I don't have HOT and can't do that. If you create a file with antenna channel numbers with lines look like: antenna_channel_number channel_name
I'll put them to the channels.xml so you will not have to connect them anymore.
I'm still waiting that anyone will do the job and send me the antenna channels mapping so I'll add it to the channels.xml for everybody using the analog connection. I don't have the cable TV and can't do it...
what is the channel id and the tuning in the channels.xml?
How they are set and how can i try and set the analog channels from the list (blabla Hz) to he xmk file (until the new version will arise)?
Tnx
I'm still trying to figure out how does it work. Unfortunately it can't be done just by the EPG itsel: the global TV frequencies table must be updated. I can't even experiment with an anlog line because I'm a Yes subscriber. Hope it'll be ready soon.

Re: Help - HOT
Did you try to "Edit Channels" and assign correct antenna numbers?
Re: Help - HOT
i don't know tp match the UNKNOWEN ones to the channel name, as it should match the exact text of the XML.
do you have an updated file ?

Re: Help - HOT
The antenna_channel_number is the channel your analog TV card is set to display the channel. Yes, it's "blablah Hz" or something.
