Using DVB-S Stream - Hardware Setup?

The addition of DVB-S stream capture sounds wonderful since there are plenty of inaccuracies in the online guides.
I am very much looking forward to getting the YES stream, which is the most accurate possible.

Question though - how do I hookup the system? This is my guess but please confirm what works best:
Split the cable from the wall - one coax cable into the set top box and the other into the DVB-S card
Connect set top box to DVB-S card via S-Video cable.
Set in VMC the source as S-Video
I assume that MegaEPG will grab the stream from the direct cable (from the wall)?

Thanks!

MegaEPG will grab the stream

MegaEPG will grab the stream only for the EPG data. It does nothing with the video/audio stream itself which is encrypted anyways. Yes, you pass the video/audio via video/audio cable connecting the set-top-box and the input of the video capture card. S-video is better than a composite connector.

DVB-S setup

I split my cable from the wall, with one going to the YES box and the other to the DVB-S card.

No other setup/installation was necessary.

Remember to select the DVB script during setup.
