Hi Igor,
In hot_he, all the programs have a single space at the beginning of their name. As a result, all the recorded files have it and it's difficult to find files, use wildcards in automatic encoders like MCEBuddy, etc... I guess it is Hot's fault, but is it possible to add a simple leading spaces remover to the code (I guess it's quite easy to do it)?
Another issue which I know you're aware of is that in hot_he the program name includes the chapter name and description, also because Hot do not store it in the standard format. This results in the inability to use the "Record Series" option. Any thoughts about a simple parser which will divide the long program name into major program name and the chapter name in the meta data?
By the way, hot_he is much better than vista_he in terms of accuracy of schedule for channels 2 and 10, and the phenomena of "double programs" does not happen in hot_he.
Thanks!
Thanks for the bug
Thanks for the bug reporting, I'll fix it.
Chapters parsing is a sensitive thing. I believe I can seriously improve it. It's in my plans right after the DVB support.
