EPG for HOT analog

Hi,
I would like to check if it's possible to make MegaEPG work with HOT's analog service.
I have a vista media center based pc with pvr-150, I programmed into the MCE all the analog channels for HOT and can watch them. However, I don't know how to make MegaEPG map those channels to the data it grabbs

Mapping of analog channels

Mapping of analog channels is quite problematic cause it depends on the geographic area. So I'm afraid you have to do that manually.

Hi Igor,
I tried to do a manual map. I programmed all HOT analog channel frequencies into VMC , then I named them is names similar to those that appear in the channels.xml file.
It worked for me on one or two channes but not all of them. Am I doing the right thing or I miss something?
Is the mapping the VMC does based on the channel name or something else?
Also, when I run the megaepgw, should I also go into VMC and make it "get latest EPG" via the configuration menus?

I added channels manually

Using their frequencies from HOTs analog channel table in their web site or from a scan I did using Haupagues WinTV GUI
what do you mean in STB?

But.. how do you enter the information in the MCE/Vista? Sorry, I never experiences with analog sources.

undet the guide menu

You go to Add missing channels
then you give a name to the channel and in the next screen you type the frequency in MHZ

Use MediaPortal

If I may suggest, use MediaPortal for TV features instead of MCE. Among other advantages, it has an easy to use EPG mapping tool.
