Bottom line: currently it does not. More optimistic answer: it will work in Vista mediacenter soon. The changes in the Vista are small: ehome directory security and the EPG services link in the registry that Microsoft updates all the time. There are no changes in the EPG format so fixing those few issues will make MegaEPG work in Vista.
I believe they won't change anything about Vista now, as it is out on the market.
I've tried installing version 0.9.9 on Vista x86 retail (Home Premium), after I got some experience with MegaEPG on WinXpMCE.
1. MegaEPG seems to work fine, even the hot_he script (once I give up on getting isr1). 2. Vista Media Center still gives me error 14, although I've followed the instructions on the front page and it's all good (including the registry entry).
Is it supposed to work now or should I wait for your next release? When should we expect version 1.0?
IT doesn't suppose to work now, Vista uses a little bit different way to download the EPG. I already implemented the things for Vista, will release it soon.
Version 1.0 is just a number :). I want to implement some additional features and build a Linux package to declare it 1.0.
