HTPC and PVR the home for MegaEPG

Is it possible to add a parameter which removes any information at the end of the title of a show that is in parentheses?

Here is the title for a show on the site "no.dagenstv.com": "Mad tv (t) (22:22)"

It would be great if it only came up as "Mad tv", so that the "record series" in MCE would work. When the episode number is in the title, every show is it's own "series". :)
