first of all thanks for a great software :)
i recently moved from yes to hot (analog)
in yes epg there was the program's name (like american idol 7) and then in the discription there will be more details. so when i tell it to record all programs the htpc ( i use gbpvr) will record it
now that i download hot's epg i get the chapters number in the program's title (american idol 7 - auditions)
so basicly each program on the epg is different from the previous one and i need to either manually set a recording or tell it to record each week/day at the same time.
is there a way to download a epg that keep only the program's name in the title?

Parsing of chapter subtitles
Parsing of chapter subtitles / episode names isn't an easy task. Every provider uses its own method and has no consistency, which is even worse. The MegaEPG parses "Program name - Episode number" names successfully, but when the episode number is really a number. I'll think on how to parse "Program name - episode subtitle" format and how to distinguish from names with "-" as a part of the program name.

when i downloaded the epg when i was connected to yes. the title of the program was the name. like "american idol 7" and in the details you had the extended information.
now the epg from hot is american idol 7 - blah blah blah"
that means that each episode has a different title and cannot be sceduled for reapeted recodings
do you know of any epg source that has the same settings as the one from yes?

No, HOT has only 2 EPG
No, HOT has only 2 EPG sources: HOT themselves and walla. I'll have to parse the tittle and extract "blah blah blah" as a subtitle.
